I’m Ready to Start a Revolution Against Digital Recording, Who Else Want’s Razors to Be Essential to Recording an Album?

I’m still not dead yet, unfortunately the hurricane’s hitting at like 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, so my beauty sleep is bound to get interrupted. Hurricane’s just have no sense of respect for others feelings and sleep patterns. Fuckin’ Irene… As long as I do make it out alive though, I’ve decided I want to start a revolution against digital recording, and make all music analog again. Just listen to that snare in any song on ‘Wasting Light’. So sexy. This is probably all because I listened to ‘Bleach’, ‘Nevermind’ and ‘In Utero’ in a row in order yesterday, and I woke up this morning and put on ‘Wasting Light’. Grohl you beast. (I understand Grohl is not the Foo Fighter’s drummer, obviously, but who’s idea was it to go analog on ‘Wasting Light’?…exactly)

Seriously, ‘Rope’ might have the best sounding snare drum I’ve ever heard.
